GEORGIA'S FIRST CHOICE IN MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION TREATMENT FOR OVER 40 YEARS
At Ridgeview Institute
For someone with an addiction, withdrawal can be difficult. A person admitted for detoxification may need inpatient treatment care with round-the-clock medical supervision, for safety and comfort.
Detox is available at both locations in Smyrna and Monroe, GA.
All of the therapies — available on an inpatient, partial, or intensive outpatient basis, work together to treat the disease of addiction and to cultivate strategies that can lead to a manageable, addiction-free life. The treatment team helps patients address issues related to their addiction, manage cravings, learn tools for recovery, address relapse risks and develop healthier relationships with others. Our programming is based in a foundation of 12 Step, abstinent based recovery.
Based upon clinical recommendations, patients in the partial hospitalization program may return home each night or may live in the Recovery Residence on the Ridgeview Smyrna campus. Those participating in the intensive outpatient program are often able to continue their participation in work or school while in treatment.
This track is designed for patients who have a psychiatric disorder co-occurring with an addiction. Ridgeview provides treatment and tools for the patient to work toward recovery from addiction, as well as to manage the psychiatric illness.
The MAT IOP program at Ridgeview Institute features addiction counseling combined with Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) and Subutex (Buprenorphine) assisted treatment.
MAT IOP may be an option for patients who, after detox, continue to have significant cravings and/or withdrawal symptoms that require the use of buprenorphine products. You, your Physician and your treatment team can determine if MAT is right for you.
