Expansion Addresses Shortage of Psychiatric Services
Atlanta, Georgia – June 29, 2018 – US HealthVest received Certificate of Need Approval to expand Ridgeview – Institute Monroe to 88 inpatient psychiatric beds.
“Since the opening of Ridgeview Institute – Monroe in 2017, we have treated over 4,000 patients in our inpatient and outpatient programs,” said Richard Kresch, M.D., President and CEO of US HealthVest. “With these new beds, we are able to meet the increasing need for specialized psychiatric services in the Atlanta area.”
Located at 709 Breedlove Drive in Monroe, Georgia, the hospital provides behavioral health and addiction treatment services for adolescents, adults and senior adults. Comprehensive services include free 24/7 assessments, inpatient, and outpatient care. A full range of specialized programs such as a Women’s Program and a Geriatric Program is also provided.
